September was a busy month for the UK design industry as London burst with innovative and exciting new products during London Design Festival. It was also an exciting month for Inex as we launched our first digital magazine, new app and formed a partnership with SBID. As we take a moment to recover from September’s buzz, I welcome you to the October issue of Inex Magazine where we unveil new trends and look towards the changing seasons.

In this month’s issue we celebrate autumn and investigate the various ways that colourful ambience filters through design. Portuguese brand Insidherland releases a furniture collection that reflects trees, leaves and nature, Carol Parry from Arboreta discusses how to make the most of a winter garden design and we look at the on-trend patterns and colours exposed during London Design Festival.

I am thrilled to announce Inex’s official affiliation with the Society of British Interior Designers, which not only creates and measures the interior design professional trading standards through practice, knowledge and science, but which is also the national representative organisation to the European Council of Interior Design and Architecture.

I hope you enjoy this issue. You can now access the latest features, products, news and supplier information at your fingertips via Inex’s new state-of-the-art app. To download your version free of charge, simply search inex-online on App Store and Google Play.
