The Pullman Hotel, St.Pancras London

In a move away from furniture per se, mrf were involved in the year long, floor by floor installation of Accor's successful launch of the Pullman brand into the UK, converting the prime site which was Novotel St Pancras.

Working with the in-house Accor project and procurement team and David Morris of Proof (Design), mrf developed headboards, daybeds and bed-benches for the 312 room hotel. mrf won the contract on price, quality and engagement in the design process. The buttoned headboards with twin-stitched seams, many at over 4 mtrs in length presented the main problem; how to get this size headboard into the hotel and into the rooms?

The simple solution was to fold them in half so they would fit the lift and turn corners! Once in the room the upholstery work was completed and final buttons fitted on site where mrf worked closely with site and hotel management and contractors.

mrf also supplied the high specification table tops into the Pullman restaurant and breakout areas.
