The company was contacted to quote for several windows for a project in Wiltshire. The customer was looking to upgrade 16 large sash windows to slim line double glazing.
The new windows needed to be as energy efficient as possible, while also being in keeping with the architectural style of the building. After the customer confirmed that they wanted to go ahead, a manufacturing survey was carried out.
The new windows were made using a timber called Accoya, which comes with a 50 year anti-rot guarantee, and they were double glazed and draught proofed to help with energy efficiency.
The Sash Window Workshop then manufactured and installed 16 pairs of new sliding sashes. A high level of attention to detail was required to ensure that the new sashes operated smoothly within the existing window frames.
After the work was completed, the customer commented ‘excellent product and stress-free installation. Clean, tidy, reliable, and polite staff. We feel very lucky to have such beautiful windows!’. The customer also noted that they would happily recommend The Sash Window Workshop.
The Sash Window Workshop are proud to provide high-quality windows and doors, along with excellent customer service, reflected in the fact that roughly half their orders come from recommendations and existing customers.
