Introducing Miele’s NEW Freestanding Wine Conditioning Units

Premium appliance manufacturer, Miele has unveiled a brand-new collection of freestanding wine conditioning units, with two appliances available from now and two additional available from December 2024.

Perfect for entertaining over the festive season and beyond, this collection of four new designs includes Miele’s first-ever solid door wine conditioning unit and units designed to look seamless alongside other appliances. Combining contemporary styling with premium wine preservation, the new wine units are perfect for any wine connoisseur or aspiring sommelier.

    Key Features Include:

    ActiveHumidity
The correct humidity level is key for perfect wine storage conditions. Miele’s ActiveHumidity function regulates the relative humidity level inside the wine unit, which can be adjusted individually via the user interface and also on the Miele app. Users simply select the droplet indicator of their choice, with three humidity levels to choose from.

    Mechanical door lock
Securely storing expensive wine is simple with a mechanical door lock and key, which also keeps it out of children’s reach.

    LED dimmable lighting
Exclusive to Miele, the new premium wine conditioning units feature energy efficient LEDs, which have a dimming effect when opening and closing the appliance door. The light intensity can also be adjusted in seven stages for each temperature zone both on the appliance and in the Miele app.

    Dry rear panel
The new wine units are also equipped with technology to keep the back dry. The rear panel is made from high-quality stainless steel or BlackSteel for uniform temperature distribution throughout the interior, preventing the formation of condensation and ice.

    Improved energy efficiency
Miele’s new wine units also feature improved energy efficiency with a D rating on selected models, helping to reduce energy usage and running costs.

    Customised solutions
Customers also have the option of customising their wine units with an exclusive Miele Wine Sommelier Set. This self-closing removable tray can be used for serving decanted wine to guests. Its wipeable and removable silicone mat prevents unsightly wine stains on the wood, while the pull-out glass holder has room for four glasses. It also comes with three bottle boxes for securely holding opened bottles and an accessory box for corkscrews and accessories.

Another optional accessory to complement the new wine units is Miele’s exclusive PresenterFrame to showcase favourite wines. Bottles can be displayed by folding up the front of the presenter to secure them in an upright position, ideal for opened bottles.

FlexiFrames can also be customised to adapt to all bottle types and sizes. Features include integrated self-close mechanisms and dampers and individual labelling using the blackboard front trim.
