mrfdesign have supplied a wide range of furniture for the recent refurbishment of Capio Nightingale Hospital buildings in London, Lisson Grove and Edward House, comprising bedroom, lounge, kitchen & dining room seating as well as reception chairs, sofas and tables for consulting rooms.
Following the completion of design concepts by Koubou Interiors (including the selection of healthcare fabrics from Panaz) mrfdesign delivered furniture direct to the hospital over a phased 5 month installation programme; working closely with the design & project management team, Luke Rose Architects and Anna Thomas, Creative Interiors, to deliver hotel-like interiors to help patients feel more comfortable and relaxed within Capio’s inpatient accommodation.
The new interiors "provide a caring environment where patients feel safe to explore their mental health and emotional issues".*
Capio offer comfortable therapy and consulting rooms designed to ensure privacy, modern group and family therapy rooms, individual en-suite contemporary bedrooms. The in-patient facilities also include patient kitchens, lounges and reading rooms for time with friends and family, other patients or quiet time.
