The award-winning multi-disciplinary design & fabrication studio Lucid Creates launches a consumer division that will encapsulate smaller-scale designs for interiors and bespoke commissions, following UK success of Dance Together.

Last week saw the grand opening of Dance Together in Liverpool, where legendary club night Chibuku has taken over Lucid Creates' latest artwork TOGETHER – a breath-taking pavilion filled with video, light and sound. Celebrating Chibuku’s 20 years at the forefront of the UK club scene, the immersive audio-visual experience is made up of three huge rings suspended between four giant pillars, intertwining archive music from some of the most celebrated nights in Chibuku’s history with ethereal visuals and a collation of stories and memories. The incredible reception received has intensified Lucid’s demand for interior artwork, cementing their plan to embark on delivering a consumer division in the next year.

Founded by Chris Carr & Helen Swan, Lucid Creates currently specialises in creating extraordinary temporary environments, spectacular structures, spaces and art pieces across a range of disciplines, with a focus on integrating visual tech. With an established reputation for creating impactful installations that result in intensely memorable experiences for audiences, Lucid work with a diverse range of creators, materials and tech to design and build installations which are showcased all over the world. From Glastonbury to Ibiza, Manchester to Bournemouth and beyond. For the remainder of this year, they have plans to exhibit Exponential at Lightpool in Blackpool and Reflections of the Future at Winterfest in Wembley Park.

At the core of Lucid Creates’ consumer department will be bespoke architectural pieces, sculptures and one-of-a-kind designs for spaces in homes and hotels. The team will be accepting commissions from clients to create personalised designs using their unique style - hand-crafted installations utilising polished aluminium, raw steel and lighting, that beautifully echo electronic music and dance culture. They will also be re-creating their existing designs scaled down to fit into indoor spaces. Guests who are left mesmerised by any of their grand installations can find joy in knowing they can purchase a recreation of it to display in their home.
