Almost 40 years on, the business has transformed its 8,000sqft head office, creating a workspace that meets today’s needs and reflects its commitment to fostering a thriving environment for both its employees and extensive client base.
The family-run business chose Chameleon Business Interiors - which has a 25-year track record of creating dynamic, people-inspired workspaces - to provide the specialist support and expertise needed to redesign, refurbish and furnish a space that would inspire and invigorate its workforce.
Shaun Watts chairman of Chameleon said: “For us to create and implement OLG’s vision we needed to completely transform the current space. By opening up all of the cellular areas, we have created a fully agile and interactive collaborative space over the office’s two floors.
“The previous interior – which, whilst functional, caused the space to feel dark and cramped - has now been replaced with an entrance area that boasts a truly welcoming reception.
“A new kitchen and breakout area with bi-fold doors leads onto a standout central atrium, fully rendered and painted in calming tones to complement the atrium gardens and outside space.”
Steve Laird vice chairman and CEO of OLG added: “The atrium roof is a real focal point for this project and an impressive feature to the design and build. It completely transforms the space, creating a central area which is warm and inviting and allows teams to collaborate freely across the two floors.
“Light and space is important to us, as is the ability for our people and managers to engage with each other, promoting teamwork and inspiring everyone to be the best they can be.
“Chameleon’s meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality has transformed our workspace into a modern, state-of-the-art environment that we are proud to share with our employees and clients. The team’s work truly exceeded our expectations in every way.”
The new OLG space will be officially open to all its personnel in November.
