LEICHT Contracts is therefore pleased to share three recently completed projects that include the urban areas of London through to the rural county of Oxfordshire.
Boutique developments require a next-level attention to detail, so LEICHT Contracts was excited to design and install 9 kitchens in the second phase at Evagreen Apartments, an eco-friendly building project close to Wandsworth High Street in All Saints Passage. This pioneering project in SW18 is designed with sustainability in mind, and was created by Artform Group and leading architects, GPAD.
The internal palette was informed by the clay bricks of the façade, using rich terracotta, soft tonal browns and textural tiling. LEICHT Contracts created a contemporary design to enhance this tonal depth with a CERES kitchen from the PRIMO collection, using a combination of handleless top units and handled base units in warm Magnolia. The one-wall design includes super-sized tall units to support extra storage and house integrated appliances. The designer matt black Furnipart knobs and handles add a distinctive finishing touch with their geometric shapes providing an accent to the linear furniture.
Sleek 12mm Silestone surfaces in Blanco City and Hafele LED recessed lighting in warm white add to a calm and nurturing open plan living space. All LEICHT kitchens include a suite of Bosch appliances with an Elica cooker hood, Reginox Amsterdam single sinks in black granite and Abode twin lever 3 in 1 Pronteau hot taps in Matt Black.
Located near to Wandsworth Town station, residents can enjoy easy access to the Victoria Line at Vauxhall in just eight mins and direct to Waterloo in 14 minutes. Closer to home, Wandsworth Park’s leafy avenue of London plane trees is ideal for a run close to the river and the ornamental gardens of dog-friendly King George’s Park provide a green space for rest and relaxation. With an ever-growing assortment of independent coffee shops, restaurants and a local craft beer brewery to enhance down time, Evagreen is close to all the neighbourhood attractions whilst providing a tranquil retreat for the busy urban professional.

The brief focused on quality, style and energy efficiency, and so the natural choice for LEICHT Contracts was to deliver kitchen, vanities and utilities to Beechcroft’s Healthihouse standard – which ensures that the home environment is as hygienic and well-ventilated as possible. The bespoke PRIMO range was used throughout the developments. In the kitchen Shaker-style CARRE FS doors were specified in a choice of quietly luxurious colours: Frosty White, Mohair and Olive Grey with ergonomic, easy clean LEICHT stainless steel handles. Ceres furniture was used for the vanities with laminate finishes in Olive Grey, Platinum and Mohair and slimline Caesarstone surfaces in Snow.
The kitchen cabinets have a resilient super matt lacquer coating for extra durability and include generous pantry storage as well as deep pull-out drawers under the hob complete with timber cutlery trays. Integrated Hafele bins taking care of waste management and recycling within the units and LEICHT Le Mans corner units allow for accessible storage. Given the individual nature of each apartment, each kitchen is open to a generous drawing room area and homeowners can select from a choice of Amtico flooring to complement their style preferences.
The aesthetic is complemented by 20mm thick antibacterial Caesarstone surfaces in Organic White, Misty Carrera, Ocean Foam and Frosty White to complement the décor throughout Longcross Place. Stainless steel splashbacks complete the prep zone with Häfele LED strip lighting recessed within the wall units for extra illumination when cooking. Each kitchen has an Elica built-in hood, Bosch oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and induction hob and a Bosch washing machine and tumble dryer in a separate utility area. A Blanco one and a half bowl stainless steel sink forms the wet zone with a chrome Globe Aquifer filter tap by Abode, reducing limescale, organic impurities and metals in the water supply for a healthier lifestyle.
