This was part of the Trends 2014 project to identify new colours and textures by international industry experts Global Color Research™ and Mix Publications and all brought to life within two room sets by design students from BCU; featuring textile, ceramic, lighting and wall covering solutions aimed to give inspiration for future interior designers.

Students showcase trendy interiors
A group of future designers will be giving us a sneak peek into what home furnishings and interior designs will be top of our wish list this year.
Interpreting two key trends – ‘Axis’ and ‘Frame’ - students from Birmingham City University will be presenting over 20 new design concepts at this year’s INTERIORS 2014 show, held from 19-22 January in NEC, Birmingham.
The trends, identified by international industry experts Global Color Research™ Mix Publications, will be bought to life over two show stopping room sets; featuring textile, ceramic, lighting, wall and floor covering solutions aimed to give inspiration for future interior designers.
