Available now, Jack Aluminium has developed the system in response to the growing trend for slimline, heritage-style screening in the interior design market. Ash Pearson, Sales manager at Jack Aluminium explains: “Go to any home design show or flick through any interiors magazine and you’ll notice the steel-look style being used for anything from room dividers and lobby entrances to shower screens and in-kitchen designs.
“The glazing industry has already seen this trend reflected in external windows and doors, but there was a gap in the market for a purpose designed system, for use internally. There is high demand for room dividers, screens and doors that separate living spaces without impacting on natural light levels, whilst maintaining the ever-popular Art-Deco or Industrial styling.”
ID30 offers full design flexibility and ultimate functionality - hinged doors, sliding doors, pivot doors, and bi-folding doors can all be configured alongside fixed screens using a minimal number of profiles.
Ash adds: “Whilst there are systems on the market that utilise external profiles to create an internal product, ID30 has been purposely engineered for use internally. The system offers minimal sightlines with no extra bulk, doing away with chunky lock housing and bulky hinges, ID30 offers a lock that is housed within the slim door stile and sleek, concealed hinges.”
“It is already proving popular and our customers are using ID30 across a range of applications – in large domestic renovations, separating kitchen, dining and living spaces, and in offices and commercial spaces to partition studios, working spaces and entrances.
“As with all Jack Aluminium products, ID30 is fast to fabricate and easy to install, making it an easy add-on product to open doors into the internal fit-out market.”
